Recipe for baked apples with cinnamon
Today it's time to prepare a very simple and very sweet dessert: baked apples with cinnamon . The apple is a fruit that allows you to make many different recipes: apple pie, apple salad, apple cookies or Apple Crumble .
I like to prepare them during colder seasons, like fall and winter, and eat them very warm, fresh out of the oven . However, if you prefer you can also eat them cold or warm.
To prepare delicious baked apples you only need the fruit and some extra ingredients that will give it a very sweet touch, such as dessert wine, sugar and a little cinnamon . In addition, you can also optionally add the dried fruit that you like the most. Personally, I always add chopped almonds.

How to Make Baked Cinnamon Apples
- The first step is to preheat the oven to a temperature of 180ºC above and below.
- We clean the apples well with plenty of water.
- We remove the core from each of the apples. I like to use a device to easily core apples (see Amazon). However, if you prefer you can use a knife to remove it.
- Once the apple cores have been removed, we place them on a baking tray, previously covered with baking paper.
- Inside the hole in each one we add a little white or brown sugar (a tablespoon), cinnamon powder, some of our favorite dessert wine and optionally some crumbled almonds.
- We put the tray with the apples in the oven and let it cook for approximately 45-50 minutes. The exact time depends on how you like them. If you want them to dissolve you may have to wait between 1 hour and 2 hours. The important thing is that you control them as they cook in the oven and by clicking. This way you will know if they are soft enough or if, on the contrary, they need to be left in the oven longer.
